What chatty.games keeps about you, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.
Last updated: 17 October 2026.
Who runs the site
chatty.games is run by the Chatty Games team, the studio behind the Chatty Games and Chatty Labs slots on Stake. It is a community site: it is not run by Stake, and it never handles real money.
What we keep
Your Stake username and the bets Stake shows publicly on our providers' games (game, bet, multiplier, time), read from Stake to fill the leaderboards, races, raffles and duels.
Your site account: the name you picked, your profile settings and, if you link them, your Discord account (id, name, picture) and your X account (id, name), with the access tokens those services give us, kept encrypted.
The Stake deposit addresses you enter to receive prizes (SOL, USDC), kept encrypted, seen only by you and the team.
What you do on the site: chat messages, Chatty Coins, Chatty Cards, duels, giveaways, and the notifications you turned on.
Why
To run the leaderboards and competitions, to pay prizes, to keep the games fair (one account per person, no cheating), to protect the site against abuse, and to send the notifications you asked for. We sell nothing about you and show no ads.
Your connection and your device
Against double accounts and cheating, the site keeps, for signed-in players: the IP address you connect from (encrypted, and as a fingerprint that cannot be reversed), an identifier stored by your browser, and a fingerprint of your device (screen, graphics card, fonts, time zone and similar). Only the team sees them, only to check accounts, and they are erased 180 days after they were last used.
They are never used for advertising and never shared.
How long
Chat messages: 30 days. IP addresses, device identifiers and fingerprints: 180 days after their last use. Sign-in sessions: 30 days. Linked Discord and X accounts: until you unlink them. Payout addresses: until you change or remove them. Your bets, results and game history: as long as your account exists, since they make up the leaderboards' history.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data. Some things may be kept when the law or fairness requires it (for example a prize already paid). If you think your data is not respected, you can also contact your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
